World class marble sculptors are not easy to find these days.

John B. Andelin is one of only a handful of sculptors in the entire world that has the capacity to produce full scale works in solid marble.

Some have described him as a modern day Davinci. A polymath with dramatic abilities in medicine, biology, mechanical engineering, painting, and classical sculpting, Dr. Andelin has been perfecting his craft for the past 35 years in his humble studio in Williston, North Dakota. Some of his works are currently on display at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

As a practicing pathologist, Dr. Andelin has become an expert in human anatomy. This knowledge has helped him visually in creating lifelike monuments to the human form. He uses the latest technology to measure and construct his pieces. He is an authority on 3D digital imaging as used in sculpture mapping. He is an accomplished relief sculptor as well and has recently finished several numismatic works commissioned by Alitin Mint.
